My stamps are made of Delrin - well known high density synthetic material resistant to pressing.
They won't break if used properly and with care, they are very durable and they have a very reasonable Price.
This is a Delrin embossing wheel that fits my Leather embossing machine LEM-1000 available at my etsy shop here :
